One Artist Show Gabriele Musebrink with Gallery Luzia Sassen

In the centre of Gabriele Musebrink’s artistic research we find condensed surfaces, structures without a center in constant motion - sometimes flowing, sometimes exploding. Cracks and fissures give evidence for the invisible forces and point at that which lies in the dark. Despite of the powerful fluctuations in the paintings, one’s view is not being driven. It can easily stay with one color or linger in exploring one certain structure. This year, the titles of the artistic works refer to an immediate dimension of time and also to a position of the artist: ‚Pure Love‘ refers to the essence, ‚Change‘ addresses major disruptions and ‚Embossing‘ forms that on which we are founded. The embossings are works made visible on paper imprintings through stone plates created by her. Musebrink emphasizes the meeting of the forces of nature and addresses transformation - never descriptive instead always fully alive and lived through. (Source: Gallery Luzia Sassen)
